Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Graco Gregoravich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Graco Gregoravich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ivan Jack! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jack walks into a left hand. Gregoravich lands the left hand. Jack gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gregoravich moves out of range of the body kick. Gregoravich stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gregoravich wants it to stay on the feet. Graco Gregoravich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gregoravich is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jack. Gregoravich gets back to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Jack is just content to waste time from the top position. Gregoravich takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gregoravich trying to control the position.
Gregoravich looking for a sweep. Not yet Gregoravich, not yet. Jack throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gregoravich controls Jack momentarily but Jack frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jack seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gregoravich looks to land a combination but Jack avoids it well. Gregoravich shoots for a double leg takedown but Jack sprawls well. He's pushed Gregoravich's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jack doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gregoravich counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The fighters circle momentarily. Gregoravich darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Gregoravich lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Gregoravich bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jack's head backwards. Gregoravich scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jack doesn't seem bothered though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gregoravich gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jack trying to control the position from guard on top but Gregoravich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gregoravich trying to keep a closed guard but Jack is proving a slippery customer.
Jack throws an elbow that misses. Gregoravich uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jack's guard. Nice move by Gregoravich! Gregoravich drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gregoravich jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jack looking for a sweep. Not yet Jack, not yet. Jack throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Gregoravich escapes and throws Jack's legs to the side, diving into side control! Gregoravich content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Graco Gregoravich dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gregoravich will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gregoravich stuffs the takedown. Gregoravich defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jack. Danga de danga de dang - Gregoravich scores with a four punch combination! Jack misses with a takedown attempt - Gregoravich sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Graco Gregoravich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Jack. Jack throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gregoravich counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Gregoravich lands a lovely overhand right. Gregoravich scores with a nice strike. Jack tries to clinch but Gregoravich moves away and Gregoravich cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jack misses with a takedown and Gregoravich counters with a stiff right hand. Jack is breathing heavily. Jack walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Gregoravich shoots in and bounces Jack off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gregoravich is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jack keeping moving, preventing Gregoravich from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Graco Gregoravich wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Jack walks into a left hand. Gregoravich throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gregoravich scores with a jab to the body. Gregoravich is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Jack pushes Gregoravich away with a front kick. Jack shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gregoravich throws a right and a left that both miss. Jack shoots in looking for a takedown. Gregoravich tries to sprawl out of it but Jack keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gregoravich manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gregoravich shoots for a takedown but Jack saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jack shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gregoravich as he avoids it easily. Gregoravich feints a jab promting Jack to slip. Gregoravich then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jack slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Jack tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gregoravich swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jack takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gregoravich shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jack's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jack can do anything to dispel that myth. Gregoravich passes Jack's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gregoravich passes to side control. Gregoravich has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jack is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Gregoravich yanks on the arm and Jack is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Gregoravich.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Graco Gregoravich! Our winner, Graco Gregoravich, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
