Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Polish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polish is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ice Cube Today was a Good Day. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Lewis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Polish! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis feints a jab promting Polish to slip. Lewis then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Polish slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like James Polish has been cut. Lewis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lewis shoots in but no luck this time. Lewis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Lewis trying to control the position but Polish is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Polish taking punishment in the form of punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Polish wants to control but Lewis postures up. Lewis prevents Polish from escaping the position. Polish is looking to regain half guard here but Lewis keeps moving and retains side control. Lewis gets to mount! Polish was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Lewis with good strikes from the mount here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Polish is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lewis wants to control the pace but Polish is squirming around nicely. Lewis scoring with strikes but Polish is staying in there. Polish throwing hammer fists to the chest of Lewis. What's that going to do exactly? Polish wants to hold on but Lewis pushes him away. Lewis is landing with some decent strikes but Polish is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Polish keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lewis trying to control but Polish is having none of it. The referee warns Polish that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lewis with the ground and pound from mount.
Polish is rocked! Lewis cracks Polish with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Lewis! James Polish was interviewed post fight and said 'Come Back stronger like a new nail.'.
