Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anzhor Azhiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Routalempi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Anzhor Azhiev has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Anzhor Azhiev seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pekka Routalempi!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azhiev goes for a double leg but Routalempi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Routalempi continues to drive forward.
Azhiev is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Routalempi to keep the fight standing.
We've been hearing reports that Azhiev has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Azhiev is trying to drag Routalempi to the mat but Routalempi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anzhor Azhiev. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Azhiev takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Routalempi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Azhiev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Routalempi pushes a forearm under Azhiev's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Azhiev is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Pekka Routalempi bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
