Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zakk Wylde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shael Connen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wylde's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, A Song For You by Zack Wylde. The key to victory for Zakk Wylde has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wylde drives through and clinches with Connen against the cage.
Wylde doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Wylde throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Connens head.
Connen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Connen tries to pull guard but Wylde holds him up against the cage and eventually Connen drops back down to his feet.

Connen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Wylde wants to control from the top but Connen keeps moving.

Connen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wylde's guard.
Wylde manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Connen manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shael Connen has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Zakk Wylde is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wylde lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wylde breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Connen has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Wylde.

and Wylde counters with a head kick. That will keep Connen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Zakk Wylde has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shael Connen.
