Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Guidal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Da Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mas que Nada. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Da Silva!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guidal shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Da Silva as he avoids it easily.
Da Silva pushes Guidal up against the cage in a clinch.
Guidal fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Da Silva tries to land a knee to the head but Guidal blocks with his arms.
Da Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Guidal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dick Guidal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Guidal.
Guidal shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guidal postures up.
Da Silva looking for a sweep. Not yet Da Silva, not yet.
Da Silva wants to stand and escape but Guidal is having none of it.
Da Silva is trying to control the position but Guidal postures up.

Guidal is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Guidal has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Da Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guidal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Da Silva has control of Guidal's left arm, preventing Guidal from doing any damage.

Guidal is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Da Silva has managed to free his arm - good work.
Guidal seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Da Silva is trying to maintain the position but Guidal is very close to passing his half guard.
Da Silva wants to improve his position but Guidal is controlling well.

Da Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Guidal is working away from the top position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Guidal counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Guidal stands and throws Da Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Guidal staying calm.

Da Silva wants to control but Guidal postures up.
Da Silva looks gassed!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
You can see the frustration on Da Silva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Guidal has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Da Silva is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Guidal yanks on the arm and Da Silva is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Guidal.
