Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Meguru Takayanagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chan Sung Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Meguru Takayanagi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chan Sung Aoki! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aoki dodges the punch combination from Takayanagi.
Takayanagi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Takayanagi misses with a series of wild punches.
Takayanagi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aoki's guard. Takayanagi trying to control the position from guard on top but Aoki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Takayanagi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Aoki preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aoki can do anything to dispel that myth. Takayanagi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Aoki is keeping the position for now. Takayanagi trying to control the position from guard on top but Aoki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Takayanagi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aoki looking to control.
Aoki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Takayanagi defends it easily. Aoki keeping full guard, as Takayanagi tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aoki working a defensive guard here.
Aoki wants to sweep but no luck. Takayanagi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Aoki wants to get back to his feet but Takayanagi is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Aoki utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takayanagi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Takayanagi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Aoki is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Takayanagi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Aoki looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Takayanagi puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Takayanagi seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Aoki is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
