Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Braulio Eskimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Pottsy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eskimo comes into the arena with you're the best blaring out of the sound system. Eskimo has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Kimbo Pottsy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kimbo Pottsy! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eskimo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pottsy circles away. Nice sprawl there from Pottsy as Eskimo shoots in. The fight moves into the clinch position. Pottsy is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Eskimo can't fight it off and eventually Pottsy manages to take the fight to the floor. Eskimo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Pottsy chips away with some ground and pound. Pottsy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pottsy trying to control the position from guard on top but Eskimo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Eskimo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pottsy wants to pass the guard but Eskimo is keeping the position. Pottsy wants to control from the top but Eskimo keeps moving. Pottsy is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pottsy pushing down on Eskimo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eskimo is breathing heavily. Pottsy wants to stand up but Eskimo is controlling the position.
Pottsy is working for a submission of some sort.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Eskimo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Braulio Eskimo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Eskimo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pottsy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Eskimo! A nice elbow there by Pottsy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pottsy is standing up, even though he is in mount. Pottsy gets a takedown into half guard. Eskimo wants to get back to full guard. Pottsy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Eskimo! Pottsy scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Eskimo?

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pottsy is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Eskimo is surviving well by controlling Pottsy's body position as best he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Eskimo tries to hold on but Pottsy postures up. Pottsy punishing his opponent with strikes. Pottsy tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Pottsy looking to control but Eskimo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Pottsy scoring with strikes but Eskimo is staying in there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pottsy prevents Eskimo from getting the reversal. Eskimo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pottsy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Pottsy wants to control the pace but Eskimo is squirming around nicely. Pottsy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Pottsy landing punches. Eskimo gets back to half guard. Pottsy is looking to take a break and control but Eskimo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pottsy tries to stand and escape but Eskimo is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo Pottsy dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Eskimo with a lazy takedown attempt and Pottsy counters with a straight right hand. Pottsy feints and as Eskimo raises his hands in defense, Pottsy changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Pottsy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Eskimo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pottsy postures up in Eskimo's guard and throws a big left but Eskimo blocks it. Pottsy trying to control but Eskimo is working from the bottom. Pottsy postures up and lands a big shot to Eskimo's brow. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pottsy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Eskimo is keeping the position for now. Eskimo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eskimo looking for a sweep. Not yet Eskimo, not yet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Eskimo tries for a takedown but Pottsy circles away easily and Pottsy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Pottsy throws a head kick that misses. Eskimo wants to clinch but Pottsy slips to the side and Pottsy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Pottsy wants to control from the top but Eskimo keeps moving. Pottsy controlling from the top position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Eskimo is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eskimo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pottsy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Eskimo has Pottsy in his guard. Pottsy sitting in guard here, content to control. Pottsy tries to stand but Eskimo is controlling from the bottom. Eskimo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pottsy manages to get himself to full guard.
Pottsy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eskimo wants to control from the top but Pottsy keeps moving. Pottsy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Pottsy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Eskimo's head. Eskimo wants to get back to full guard. Pottsy moves nicely into side control. Eskimo tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Pottsy easily slips into full mount! Eskimo wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pottsy tries to keep control of the position but Eskimo is staying busy. Eskimo rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Pottsy tries to pass the half guard into mount. Eskimo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Eskimo kicks Pottsy off and gets back to his feet. Eskimo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pottsy counters by clinching up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo Pottsy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Pottsy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pottsy misses with the ground and pound. Pottsy stands up and beckons Eskimo to his feet. Pottsy has closed the distance and engaged Eskimo in a clinch.
Eskimo has had enough of the clinch but Pottsy keeps him there for the moment. Eskimo can't break the clinch.
Pottsy breaks from the clinch.
Eskimo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pottsy scores a takedown into full mount! Pottsy stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pottsy has his takedown stuffed and Eskimo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pottsy's guard now. Eskimo advances position into side control! Pottsy can't do much from the bottom here. Eskimo tries to advance to mount but Pottsy denies him. Pottsy wants to control but Eskimo postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pottsy tries to escape but Eskimo is in control. Pottsy struggling a bit here. Pottsy is trying to get back to half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Eskimo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Eskimo lands in his opponent's guard. Eskimo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pottsy works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Eskimo tries to free his leg and advance position but Pottsy is retaining full guard. Eskimo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pottsy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pottsy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pottsy!
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Eskimo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Eskimo is trying to improve his position. Pottsy is looking to take a break and control but Eskimo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Eskimo is looking for a sweep.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Eskimo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pottsy. Eskimo moves into full guard.
Braulio Eskimo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Eskimo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pottsy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kimbo Pottsy. Well Pottsy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
