Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julius Caesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Contofalsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caesar comes to the cage accompanied by Et Tu Brute. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julius Caesar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marek Contofalsky! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caesar just misses with a punch to the body.
Caesar throws a right hand that Contofalsky ducks under and follows up with a left that Contofalsky also avoids with ease. Caesar just misses with a punch to the body.
Caesar lands with a nice combination. Contofalsky backs away looking to recover. A nice inside leg kick there by Caesar. That's going to slow Contofalsky down. Jab, jab by Caesar - just one landing. Contofalsky dodges the punch combination from Caesar.
Caesar goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Caesar blocks a leg kick. Caesar throws a right hand that misses
and Contofalsky counters with an outside leg kick.
Caesar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Contofalsky counters with a flying knee. Nice. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Caesar drives through and clinches with Contofalsky against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Caesar's face as he tries to break the clinch. I was talking to Caesar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A short right from Caesar on the inside. Contofalsky controlling the action here for a moment.
Caesar blocks an elbow strike. Caesar lands with a light punch inside. Caesar can't break the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Caesar.
Contofalsky is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Caesar wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Caesar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Caesar connects with a good right hand that stumbles Contofalsky. Contofalsky circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Caesar misses with a lunging right hand
and Contofalsky counters with a stiff right hand. Caesar throws a right hand that Contofalsky ducks under and follows up with a left that Contofalsky also avoids with ease. Caesar throws a solid leg kick but Contofalsky takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Caesar. Caesar misses the jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A low kick from Caesar misses and Contofalsky counters with a left and a right that stings Caesar. Caesar slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Caesar throws a sloppy body shot
and Contofalsky counters with a series of strikes. Caesar will be more careful next time no doubt. Contofalsky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Caesar throws out the jab. Caesar throws a solid leg kick but Contofalsky takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Caesar. Contofalsky throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Caesar. Caesar's corner calls for a 1-2. Caesar obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caesar moves into the clinch. Contofalsky has Caesar pressed against the cage, preventing Caesar from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Caesar misses with a hook to the ribs.
Caesar throws a punch but it's blocked by Contofalsky. Contofalsky lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Julius Caesar has been cut. Caesar is trying to force a seperation but Contofalsky has the dominant position. Caesar can't break the clinch.

Julius Caesar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marek Contofalsky. Caesar doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caesar lands a right hand. Caesar misses with some punches.
Contofalsky turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Contofalsky manages to end up in side control. Caesar is looking for a sweep. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Caesar manages to work his way to half guard, despite Contofalsky's best efforts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Caesar lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Contofalsky has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Contofalsky and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Caesar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Caesar connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Contofalsky's hands. Caesar scores with a punch to the head. Caesar throws a hook but Contofalsky avoids it easily. Caesar scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. A low kick from Caesar misses and Contofalsky counters with a two punch combo. A slow jab from Caesar misses its intended target. Donk. Caesar catches Contofalsky right on the button with a cross. Contofalsky uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Caesar. A swing and a miss from Caesar. Caesar throws a right and a left that Contofalsky avoids nicely. Julius Caesar is winning the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Contofalsky doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Caesar scores with the left hand. Contofalsky knows he should have avoided that one. Caesar cracks Contofalsky with a big right hand and Contofalsky goes down!
Contofalsky is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Caesar tries to free his leg and advance position but Contofalsky is retaining full guard. Contofalsky is still in real trouble! Can Caesar finish him? Caesar stopping the sweep attempt from Contofalsky. Contofalsky keeping full guard, as Caesar tries to pass. Caesar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Contofalsky's guard. Contofalsky seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Contofalsky is staying active underneath Caesar, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Caesar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Caesar tries to pass to full mount but Contofalsky defends it. Caesar throwing shots but Contofalsky is blocking nicely. Caesar trying to control from half guard but Contofalsky is working away. Caesar throws a strike but Contofalsky avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Caesar wants to control from the top but Contofalsky keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Caesar looking to pass the guard. Caesar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Caesar trying to control but Contofalsky is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Julius Caesar wasn't doing enough on the ground. Contofalsky attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Caesar has managed to clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Caesar working aggressively here.

Julius Caesar dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Julius Caesar's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Contofalsky drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Contofalsky lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Caesar connects with a body shot. Contofalsky lands the left hand. Caesar darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Caesar dodges the punch combination from Contofalsky.
Caesar throws a low kick but it's checked well by Contofalsky. Contofalsky ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Caesar has managed to clinch.
Contofalsky looking for a takedown. Contofalsky's coach down at Skylab Vegas was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Contofalsky's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Caesar.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Caesar misses with a short punch on the inside. Contofalsky is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Caesar looking to slow down the pace here. Caesar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Caesar misses with a short punch on the inside. Caesar wants to stall.
Caesar seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Contofalsky is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment. Julius Caesar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Caesar takes an elbow to the temple.
And that's the end of the fight! Julius Caesar showed his dominance in that final round. Well Caesar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
