Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sherif Fathy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitali Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fathy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eat You Alive. Kersikov has chosen Dj Nosferatu - When Angels Cry as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sherif Fathy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vitali Kersikov! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kersikov cracks Fathy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Fathy tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Fathy has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hell's Balls NY Hellcademy in the buildup to the fight. Kersikov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fathy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Fathy checks a leg kick. Fathy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kersikov.
Fathy tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Fathy throws a front kick aimed at Kersikov's knee but Kersikov avoids it well. Fathy slips a jab from Kersikov. Kersikov with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kersikov scores with a jab. Fathy acknowledges it with a nod of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Fathy pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Fathy jabbing away but nothing is landing. Fathy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fathy there as he acknowledges the shot. Fathy connects with a high kick.
It looks like Vitali Kersikov has been cut. Fathy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fathy throws a leg kick but Kersikov checks it. Fathy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kersikov lets loose with a powerful body kick. Fathy will feel that in the morning. Vitali Kersikov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fathy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kersikov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Sherif Fathy has been cut. Kersikov has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fathy. Kersikov throws a half hearted mid kick. Kersikov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Fathy on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fathy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kersikov lands a really nice looking cross but Fathy seems unphased.
Kersikov works Fathy's body with a nice hook. Kersikov lands with a hook. Fathy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kersikov dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Fathy is breathing heavily. Fathy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kersikov. Kersikov connects with a leg kick. Fathy looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kersikov digs a good body shot into Fathy's ribs. Kersikov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kersikov scores with a jab. Fathy acknowledges it with a nod of the head. A shot to the liver by Kersikov. Beautiful body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kersikov looks to land a combination. Fathy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Kersikov lands a jab to Fathy's midsection. Kersikov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sherif Fathy's cut is getting worse. Kersikov lands a big right hand that sends Fathy crashing to the mat! Kersikov stays standing though and waves Fathy back to his feet!
Fathy is rocked! We've been informed that Kersikov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Fathy catches Kersikov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kersikov connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. The fighters circle momentarily. Kersikov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Fathy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kersikov scores with a leg kick.
Kersikov throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Fathy crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Vitali Kersikov! A very excited looking Vitali Kersikov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
