Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brendan Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donny Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Brendan Bell has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Brendan Bell seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell throws a head kick but Stark moves out of range.
Bell stuffs the takedown attempt from Stark. Stark gets slowly back to his feet.
Stark tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bell defends well and Stark ends up having to push Bell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bell could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Stark has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bell after a bit of a struggle.

Stark tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bell just stands there and leans against the cage.

Stark shoots for a double leg takedown but Bell sprawls well. He's pushed Stark's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Stark shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bell as he jumps to the side.
Bell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Donny Stark has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stark drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bell manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stark has Bell in his guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bell jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stark walks away with a smile on his face. Bell gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stark's waist but Stark gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bell off to one side.

Stark changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bell tries to avoid it but Stark manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bell to the ground. Bell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
