Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stu Pid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baroev Radik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stu Pid!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Baroev Radik!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Radik or perhaps it was just good defense by Pid which made him look bad.
Radik shoots in and drives through. Pid sprawls well.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Radik.
Stu Pid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baroev Radik.

Radik closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Radik is trying to get an arm triangle but Pid is defending well.

Radik works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Pid wants to get back to his feet but Radik drags him back down.
The ground and pound from Radik seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Radik is looking to take a break and control but Pid is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Radik lands a few punches from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pid takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Radik connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Pid some visible discomfort.
Pid tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Radik wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Pid is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Radik is controlling him well.

Radik swings around for an armbar but Pid sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Radik's guard.
Radik wants to get back to his feet but Pid is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Radik has a closed guard, preventing Pid from standing up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Radik is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pid defends well.

It looks like Baroev Radik has been cut.
Pid won't allow Radik to sweep him here.

Pid working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.


That has opened up Baroev Radik's cut even more.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

We've been hearing good reports from Pid's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Radik dives in for a single leg takedown but Pid sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Pid breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pid leaves Radik with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

We've been informed that Radik has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Pid lands a big right hand that sends Radik crashing to the mat! Pid stays standing though and waves Radik back to his feet!

That's time! Pid's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Pid trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Radik closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pid circles away.

Radik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pid's guard.

Pid is looking to stand up but Radik isn't so interested in that idea.
Radik wants to control from the top but Pid keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Radik accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pid not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pid keeping full guard, as Radik tries to pass.
Radik lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pid lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Radik!

Pid working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Radik slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Baroev Radik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Radik has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In his post fight interview, Baroev Radik started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
