The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toriyama swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Toriyama throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Garcia was covering up waiting for the punch and Toriyama finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Garcia working for a triangle but Toriyama defends it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Garcia lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Toriyama!
Toriyama on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Toriyama tries to get out of the position.
Toriyama tries to reverse the position but Garcia maintains control.
Toriyama swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Toriyama can't escape the position.
Garcia has control of Toriyama's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Toriyama regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Toriyama is wriggling around trying to escape.
Garcia wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Toriyama tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Garcia is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Toriyama is forced to tap! Great finish!
