Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fujimoto Taiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kolt Ganger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fujimoto Taiki has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kolt Ganger!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taiki gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ganger tries to free his leg and advance position but Taiki is retaining full guard.
Taiki controls Ganger momentarily but Ganger frees himself.
Ganger engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Taiki will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ganger seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Taiki uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ganger.

Ganger shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ganger's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Ganger thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Taiki's head.
Taiki keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Ganger landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Ganger should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ganger thows a huge punch but Taiki dodges it nicely.

Ganger working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Ganger seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Let's hope that Ganger has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kolt Ganger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Kolt Ganger is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Taiki enables Ganger to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Taiki manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ganger controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kolt Ganger was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Taiki gets caught flat footed, as Ganger shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Ganger has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Ganger cracks Taiki with a big right hand but Taiki just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Kolt Ganger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ganger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
