Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amun Ra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Don't You Give Your Love Away . Amun Ra could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Victor Brown's chin.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Amun Ra!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Victor Brown!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ra gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Brown.
Nice takedown defense from Brown. No joy for Ra on that attempt.
Ra takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ra jabs Brown to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Horrible takedown by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Ra which made him look bad.
Brown throws a hook but Ra avoids it easily.
Ra just misses with a punch to the body.
Brown throws out a loose jab but Ra uses good head movement to avoid it.
Brown scores with a leg kick.
Ra throws a poor cross that misses

and Brown counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ra won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ra manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Ra slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Ra is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Brown tries to get to full guard but Ra has control of the leg.
We've been hearing that Ra has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Ra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but Ra persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round but I would say that Amun Ra will probably get the nod.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ra enables Brown to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ra manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Brown postures up in Ra's guard and throws a big left but Ra blocks it.
Ra has Brown pulled in close to control his posture.

Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Ra is retaining full guard.

Ra manages to reverse the position and now he's in Brown's guard. Nice work there by Ra.
Ra keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brown's head.

Ra shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side.

Ra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.

Ra bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ra throws out the jab.

Ra closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Ra feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Brown scores with a nice right hand.

Ra throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ra misses with a wild combination.
Ra looks to land a left hand but Brown moved out of range nicely.
Brown thuds his right hand into Ra's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ra darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Brown decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Ra manages to get to full guard.
Ra lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brown!

Brown is squirming around, avoiding Ra's attempts to control the action.
Brown blocking the ground and pound.

Ra landing strikes from the mount and Brown is in trouble!
Brown is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Brown is trying desperately to improve position.

Ra breaks from Brown's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Brown is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ra throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Ra misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Brown tries to hold on but Ra pushes him away.
Ra pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brown is bucking up trying to escape but Ra cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


Brown is rocked!
Ra looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Brown covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
