Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between El Hielo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hielo comes into the arena with Ice Baby blaring out of the sound system. Dwayne Hicks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, El Hielo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwayne Hicks! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hielo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hicks! Hielo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hicks is now in Hielo's guard. A big mistake from Hielo there, giving up the dominant position! Hielo has his foot on Hicks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hicks works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hicks wants to control from the top but Hielo keeps moving. Hielo wants to control but Hicks passes easily into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hicks wants to stand up but Hielo has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hicks is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Hielo reverses the position - he's now on top in Hicks's guard. Hicks wants to stand and escape but Hielo is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
El Hielo dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Some wild striking there from Hicks.
Hielo fails with the takedown. Hicks tries to clinch but Hielo moves out of range. Hicks lands a head kick!
Hielo is rocked! Hicks misses with a hook. Hielo ducked under it nicely. Hielo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hicks's waist but Hicks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hielo off to one side. Hicks moves into the clinch successfully.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hicks. Hicks is leaning against Hielo and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice elbow from Hicks. Hielo fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for El Hielo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hielo takes an elbow to the temple. Hicks landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Hielo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hicks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hielo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hielo showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hielo is looking to stall here but Hicks recovers full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hicks looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hielo is one step ahead there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dwayne Hicks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Hicks misses with a hook. Hicks tries to clinch there but Hielo circles away.

Hicks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hielo sprawls well initially but Hicks persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hicks wants to pass to mount but Hielo is defending the position. Hicks seems to be working for a kimura but Hielo defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hicks wants to control but Hielo is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hicks is just content to waste time from the top position. Hielo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Hielo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hicks gets to his feet - Hielo follows without any prompting.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hielo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hicks has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hicks misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Hicks lands a shoulder strike. Hicks avoiding damage.
A right hand to the body from Hicks.
The referee calls for Hicks to work.
Hicks landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Hicks misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hielo.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hicks lands a body punch in the clinch. Hicks digs a right hand underneath Hielo's ribcage. Hielo let out a lung full of air as it connected. Hicks's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Hicks lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hielo or not.
And that's the end of the fight! Dwayne Hicks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hicks has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
