The crowd seem to be enjoying Abe's choice of entrance music: Uncle Sam Goddamn. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abe works Kappa's body with a nice hook.
Kappa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kappa fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Abe to the ground. Kappa is now in Abe's guard.
Abe has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Earnest Abe hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Abe misses with a hook.
Kappa throws a shot from downtown. Abe moves away and avoids it.
Nice shot lands for Abe.
Earnest Abe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kappa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Abe manages to avoid it.
Kappa tries to score with a low kick but Abe moves his leg out of the way.
Abe throws a nice inside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Abe scores with a jab to the jaw.
Kappa dips to his left and cracks Abe with an uppercut!
Abe scores with a sloppy right hand. Kappa should have avoided that one.
Kappa drops Abe with a beautiful combination! Abe stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kappa is looking for the KO!
Abe is rocked!
It looks like Earnest Abe has been cut.
Earnest Abe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Abe leaves his chin hanging out and Kappa seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Abe crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). David Kappa!
David Kappa made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Who's next motherfucker!? NO ONE TAKES MY BELT, BRING IT ON!'.
