Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rickey Obrien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jaffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rickey Obrien! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Jaffer! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaffer misses with a body shot.
Jaffer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Obrien gets tackled into the cage by Jaffer. Jaffer maintains the clinch. Jaffer fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Obrien managing to block the knees to the body from Jaffer.
Jaffer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jaffer needs to keep his hands up - Obrien had a free shot at his head there. Jaffer misses with a takedown attempt and Obrien counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Jaffer misses with a takedown and Obrien counters with a right hand to the body. Rickey Obrien has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jaffer. Jaffer shoots in for a double leg but Obrien sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jaffer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obrien with a nice cross. Jaffer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Obrien tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jaffer is in Obrien's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Obrien looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jaffer is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Obrien looking for a guillotine here but Jaffer defends easily.
Obrien thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Obrien wants to sweep here but Jaffer controlling him for the moment. Obrien controls Jaffer momentarily but Jaffer frees himself. Obrien wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jaffer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Obrien looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Obrien wants to hit a switch here but Jaffer passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Obrien there! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Obrien is wriggling around trying to escape.
Obrien tries to hold on but Jaffer pushes him away. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jaffer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Obrien regains half guard. Obrien wants to get back to full guard. Obrien is trying to control but can't.
Jaffer working over Obrien with some ground and pound. Obrien looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jaffer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Obrien. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Obrien is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jaffer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jaffer's back! Obrien controlling from the back. Obrien is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obrien is not going to allow Jaffer to sit and survive in this position. Obrien is looking for the choke from the back position but Jaffer is controlling his hands well. Obrien working for the choke. Obrien is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jaffer knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jaffer for a finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jaffer holding both Obrien 's hands and preventing any damage. Jaffer is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Obrien avoiding Jaffer 's attempts to control his hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rickey Obrien will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jaffer with a lazy takedown attempt and Obrien counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jaffer shoots in but Obrien avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jaffer darts in looking for a takedown but Obrien gets double underhooks and turns Jaffer into the cage. Rickey Obrien has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jaffer. Jaffer tries a body shot but Obrien blocks it.
Jaffer breaks the clinch.
Jaffer misses with a takedown and Obrien counters with a stiff right hand. Jaffer is breathing heavily. Jaffer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Obrien moves away. Obrien could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jaffer misses with a takedown and Obrien counters with a flying knee. Nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaffer tries for a takedown but Obrien circles away easily and Obrien counters with a flying knee. Nice. Jaffer shoots in looking for a takedown but Obrien manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jaffer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Obrien avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Obrien closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jaffer did well to prevent Obrien getting side control. Obrien perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Obrien is trying to control. Jaffer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jaffer can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jaffer scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Obrien manages to mount him!

Obrien lands a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obrien tries to get the hooks in deep but Jaffer pushed the leg off. Jaffer looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is taking a good look at Jaffer as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Obrien!
Obrien punishes Jaffer with strikes from the back mount. Obrien controlling well, preventing Jaffer from escaping the position.
Obrien is looking to control Jaffer but Jaffer is wriggling around and keeping busy. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Obrien is trying to stick to Jaffer's back but Jaffer is turning into Obrien. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Obrien's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jaffer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rickey Obrien dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
A head kick misses from Obrien. Jaffer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Obrien is fending him off so far but Jaffer persists. Nope, Obrien circles away and we're back to standing. Jaffer moves into range and clinches up with Obrien. Jaffer jumps guard but Obrien turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jaffer controlling the action here for a moment.
Obrien prevents the takedown attempt.
Rickey Obrien has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jaffer. Jaffer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Obrien has him pressed against the cage. Jaffer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jaffer lands an uppercut. Obrien manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obrien fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A nice inside leg kick there by Obrien. That's going to slow Jaffer down. Jaffer shoots for a double leg takedown but Obrien sprawls well. He's pushed Jaffer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Obrien gets caught flat footed, as Jaffer shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Obrien manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jaffer tries to hold on but Obrien pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Obrien controlling from the full mount. Jaffer is squirming around, avoiding Obrien's attempts to control the action. Obrien raining down hammerfists from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obrien is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jaffer can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Jaffer has given up his back here.
Obrien biding his time, looking for the opening.
Obrien is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Jaffer has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Obrien keeps control of the position as Jaffer tries to break free.
Jaffer looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Jaffer defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Obrien's arms.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rickey Obrien. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Obrien, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
