Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wil Hardison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobroma Garvonin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garvonin has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardison shoots in looking for a takedown but Garvonin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hardison's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hardison misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hardison connects with a good right hand that stumbles Garvonin. Garvonin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Garvonin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hardison connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Garvonin's hands.
Garvonin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hardison is trying to defend but Garvonin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Garvonin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hardison!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hardison really wants to buck Garvonin off and get back to his feet.
Garvonin looking to secure an arm triangle but Hardison defends it well.
Garvonin prevents Hardison from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hardison tries to improve his position but instead Garvonin has taken his back!
Garvonin is working for a rear naked choke. Hardison is not defending it well and Garvonin has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hardison refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hardison's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kobroma Garvonin!
