Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tad Chaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamison Golog! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chaney looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Chaney fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Golog avoids it really well and circles away. Golog throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chaney tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Golog swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tad Chaney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chaney fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Golog to the ground. Chaney is now in Golog's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Golog pulls Chaney in close to his closed guard and prevents Chaney from doing any damage or advancing position. Golog manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round. Chaney is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Chaney has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Golog in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Chaney tries to lock up and control but Golog gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Chaney is squirming around, avoiding Golog's attempts to control the action. Chaney gets back to half guard. Golog stalling. Golog prevents Chaney from improving his position. Golog wants to pass to mount but Chaney is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Golog is keen to just control but Chaney is a slippery customer. Chaney desperately trying to maintain half guard. Golog stops Chaney from getting back to his feet.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jamison Golog wasn't active enough on the ground. Golog keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Golog tries to close the distance and clinch but Chaney swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Golog looks to land a combination. Chaney sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Golog stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Golog wants it to stay on the feet. Chaney has a takedown stuffed. Golog throws a body kick that misses. Chaney fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Golog throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Tad Chaney has been cut. Golog's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chaney connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Golog scrambles back to his feet. Chaney tries to close the distance and clinch up but Golog swats him away and circles back towards the center. Golog looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Chaney has a closed guard, preventing Golog from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Golog throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Golog trying to control but Chaney is working from the bottom. Golog looking to sit in guard and control but Chaney gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Golog throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Golog bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chaney's guard. Golog wants to control from the top but Chaney keeps moving. Chaney looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Chaney counters with a three punch combo that has Golog backing up. Golog nods at Chaney to acknowledge the strikes. Golog darts in looking for a takedown but Chaney gets double underhooks and turns Golog into the cage. Golog has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chaney after a bit of a struggle. Chaney misses with a body punch.

Golog pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Golog plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Golog stuffs the takedown attempt from Chaney. Chaney gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Golog tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chaney paws at him with a jab and circles away. Golog fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chaney avoids it really well and circles away. Golog is breathing heavily. Chaney drives through and clinches with Golog against the cage.
Chaney manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Chaney tries to break free but Golog pushes him back against the cage. Golog jumps guard but Chaney stands there with Golog around his waist. Golog gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Chaney decides to pull guard. Golog wants to control from the top but Chaney keeps moving. Chaney is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Chaney working a defensive guard here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tad Chaney will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tad Chaney's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Chaney throws a right hand that Golog ducks under and follows up with a left that Golog also avoids with ease. Golog gets in close and instigates a clinch. Golog wants to sweep but no luck. Chaney is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
