Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kid Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alphons Draclau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kid Funkyama looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kid Funkyama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alphons Draclau! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Draclau just misses with a punch to the body.
Draclau stuns Funkyama with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Draclau throws a push kick but Funkyama slaps the foot to one side. A chopping leg kick lands by Draclau. Draclau misses with a two punch combination.
The fighters circling - Draclau throws out the jab but it was never going to land. We've been told by Funkyama's head coaches at Bad Pluto! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Funkyama tries to sprawl but Draclau drives through with a takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Draclau thows a huge punch but Funkyama dodges it nicely.
Funkyama is breathing heavily.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Draclau fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Draclau goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Funkyama on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Draclau fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Funkyama. Draclau has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. An inside leg kick lands from Draclau. Draclau scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Funkyama doesn't seem bothered though. Good exchange - Draclau coming out on top. Draclau throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Funkyama has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Funkyama there as he acknowledges the shot. Draclau misses with a low kick as Funkyama jumps back. Nice defenses there by Draclau. Funkyama takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Draclau stuns Funkyama with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Draclau scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kid Funkyama is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Draclau lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Draclau shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Funkyama manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Funkyama avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Draclau has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Draclau controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kid Funkyama wasn't doing enough on the ground. Draclau digs a good body shot into Funkyama's ribs. Draclau throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Funkyama stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Draclau lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Draclau is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Funkyama's half guard. Draclau not landing any meaningful shots this time. Draclau with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Draclau is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Funkyama is rocked! Funkyama is staying active underneath Draclau, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Draclau scoring with strikes to the body and head. Draclau is keen to just control but Funkyama is a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Alphons Draclau was stalling too much, according to the referee. Draclau throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Draclau works Funkyama's body with a nice hook. Draclau drives through and clinches with Funkyama against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Draclau lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Draclau doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Draclau digs a right hand underneath Funkyama's ribcage. Funkyama let out a lung full of air as it connected. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Draclau lands with a left to the head. Draclau lands an uppercut. Oh Funkyama is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Draclau swings away with an uppercut that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alphons Draclau dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Draclau gets a double leg takedown into Funkyama's guard. Funkyama seems to have got his legs back now. Funkyama keeping moving, preventing Draclau from controlling successfully. Draclau throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Funkyama works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Draclau with a flurry of punches that miss. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Draclau throws a body punch but Funkyama moves out of range. Draclau has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Funkyama falls off balance throwing a combination
and Draclau counters with a right hand to the body. Draclau lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Funkyama at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Draclau drops his shoulder and cracks Funkyama with a huge uppercut! Funkyama goes down! Can Draclau finish him?
Draclau working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Funkyama's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Draclau landing some decent shots from guard. Draclau controls from within his opponent's guard. Draclau is working Funkyama over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Draclau throwing strikes from guard but Funkyama blocks nicely. Draclau trying to control but Funkyama is working from the bottom. Funkyama can't keep his opponent in guard - Draclau advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Draclau controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alphons Draclau. Draclau tries to score a power double leg takedown but Funkyama sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Draclau somewhat. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Draclau.
Draclau lands with a slapping head kick. Draclau ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Draclau is looking to slow Funkyama down with leg kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Funkyama takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Draclau.
A chopping leg kick lands by Draclau. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Draclau. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Funkyama takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Funkyama on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Draclau uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Draclau stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Draclau throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Draclau connects with a body shot. Draclau cracks Funkyama on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Funkyama falls backwards against the cage. Draclau follows up with more strikes that drop Funkyama to his knees. Draclau keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Funkyama! This one is all over!
