The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguirre scores with a push kick.
Ishida changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aguirre tries to avoid it but Ishida manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aguirre to the ground. Aguirre escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Donny Aguirre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aguirre shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ishida pinned against the cage. Ishida gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Aguirre throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ishida will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ishida shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Aguirre manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Aguirre is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ishida has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Aguirre defend it? Ishida steps over the head and cranks it - Aguirre is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ishida!
