Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Kalashnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jari Mountain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalashnikov's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Leningrad Cowboys - Those Were The Days . Mountain has chosen kuningas as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vadim Kalashnikov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jari Mountain! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mountain jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kalashnikov lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Good leg kick by Kalashnikov there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kalashnikov fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Mountain moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kalashnikov throws the left hand but Mountain avoids the punch easily. Mountain clinches up with Kalashnikov and pushes him back against the cage. Mountain stalling the fight.

Kalashnikov misses with a short punch on the inside. I was talking to Kalashnikov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Kalashnikov lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Kalashnikov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mountain fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Kalashnikov throws a right and a left that both miss. Mountain fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kalashnikov manages to avoid it. Kalashnikov cracks a nice hook into Mountain's ribs. A head kick misses from Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov checks a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalashnikov loads up on a big right hand but Mountain slips the punch. Kalashnikov jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Mountain walks into a stiff left hand from Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov throws a head kick but Mountain moves out of range.
Kalashnikov swings for the body but Mountain moves out of range.
Mountain uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kalashnikov. Mountain pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kalashnikov is out of range and Mountain settles back down. Kalashnikov avoids the body shot from Mountain.
Good work by Mountain as he checks the leg kick. Kalashnikov misses with an uppercut. Mountain saw that one coming. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kalashnikov finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Mountain's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Kalashnikov falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jari Mountain! A very excited looking Jari Mountain made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
