Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Belford Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Big Balls by AC/DC. The crowd seem to be enjoying Andrews's choice of entrance music: Trevor Jones - Promentory. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as BJ Andrews enters the cage!

12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, BJ Andrews! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott shoots in looking for a takedown. Andrews tries to sprawl out of it but Scott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Andrews manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Scott swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Andrews displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Scott. Scott darts in looking for a takedown but Andrews gets double underhooks and turns Scott into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronald Belford Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Andrews tries for a takedown but Scott manages to get underhooks.
Andrews tries to score a body lock takedown but Scott shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Scott wants a takedown but no success here.

Scott with a poor takedown and Andrews counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Andrews is trying to work for a kimura but Scott is defending well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Scott is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Andrews is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Andrews is looking to advance position but Scott won't allow it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Andrews is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott manages to escape and get back to his feet! Scott gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andrews drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Scott tries to score a body lock takedown but Andrews shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Andrews is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Scott pulls him back up using the underhooks. Andrews looking for a takedown. Scott breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Scott misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Scott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andrews tries to avoid it but Scott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andrews to the ground. Andrews escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrews avoids a kick to the body.
Scott throws a lazy right hand but Andrews sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Scott looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Scott fails with the takedown and Andrews counters with a nice double leg into guard. Scott wants to stand and escape but Andrews is having none of it. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Andrews working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. This has been an exciting period of action! Andrews controls from within his opponent's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scott looking to hit a scissor sweep but Andrews is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but BJ Andrews will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Scott looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Scott misses with a jab, cross combination.
Scott fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Andrews avoids it really well and circles away. Scott shoots in but no luck this time. Andrews displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Scott. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Scott is defended easily by Andrews. Andrews walks into a stiff left hand from Scott.

Scott punishes Andrews's body with a nice straight punch. Scott shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Andrews as he jumps to the side. Scott fails with a takedown attempt. Scott misses with a takedown attempt and Andrews counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Andrews. Andrews is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Andrews passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott is trying to buck Andrews off. Andrews goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Scott has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Andrews but great work by Scott. Scott is looking to take a break and control but Andrews is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Scott throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Scott tries to score with some ground and pound. Andrews controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. You can see the frustration on Andrews's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Andrews prevents Scott from improving position.

Scott decides to take the fight back to the feet. Scott scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scott goes for a double leg but Andrews avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Andrews continues to drive forward. Andrews drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Scott gets the underhooks and prevents it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Scott defends it well. BJ Andrews has got the better of the ground game so far. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to BJ Andrews. I think Andrews has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
