Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stanislav Votava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasiliy Khrapov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Votava comes to the cage accompanied by I Stand Alone. The crowd seem to be enjoying Khrapov's choice of entrance music: Rocky road to Dublin (RUS). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Votava just misses with a punch to the body.
Khrapov misses the jab.
No luck for Votava with that takedown attempt.
Khrapov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Votava looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Khrapov misses with a looping right.
Votava ducks under a wild hook from Khrapov.
Votava chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Khrapov can pounce on him.
Khrapov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Votava misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Khrapov.
Khrapov shoots in and bounces Votava off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Votava has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Khrapov has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Votava stalling in the clinch but Khrapov improves position.

Khrapov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Stanislav Votava has been cut.

The fighters circling - Votava throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Votava dips to his left and cracks Khrapov with an uppercut!
A slow jab from Khrapov misses its intended target.
Khrapov shoots for a double leg takedown but Votava sprawls well. He's pushed Khrapov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Votava misses with a wild body shot.
A left lands for Votava.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Khrapov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Khrapov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Votava changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Khrapov tries to avoid it but Votava manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Khrapov to the ground. Khrapov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanislav Votava. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Khrapov thows a body shot but no joy.
Khrapov lands with an overhand left.
Khrapov misses with a hook.
Votava sizes up Khrapov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Khrapov lands a jab to the head.
Votava is rocked!
Votava is aggressively charging in as Khrapov backs up avoiding any damage. Khrapov tosses out a jab and Votava runs right into it face first! Votava is out cold! Khrapov dropped down on all fours and is barking in Votava's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vasiliy Khrapov!
