Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harley Tran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frans Vanvoren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harley Tran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frans Vanvoren! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tran has his takedown stuffed and Vanvoren counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Tran is trying to maintain the position but Vanvoren is very close to passing his half guard. Vanvoren throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Vanvoren trying to control the pace. Vanvoren thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tran's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vanvoren prevents Tran from improving his position. Vanvoren not doing much here.
Frans Vanvoren has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Vanvoren is looking to clinch but Tran is avoiding it.
Tran defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vanvoren. Vanvoren misses the shot to the body. Vanvoren is looking to clinch. Vanvoren tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tran manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tran closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Vanvoren's guard. Tran has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vanvoren is controlling Tran's posture. Tran loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Vanvoren has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tran should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vanvoren has tightened it up now! Tran should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
