Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zhen Ji!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Buster Blighton!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ji fails to land with a series of punches.
Ji just misses with a punch to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Blighton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ji throws a hook to the side of Blighton's head but Blighton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ji dips to his left and cracks Blighton with an uppercut!
Ji leaves Blighton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ji jabs at Blighton's body.
Blighton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Blighton doesn't manage to clinch there - Ji circles away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ji keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Ji and Blighton goes tumbling to the canvas! Ji follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Blighton is not content to let Ji control the position.
Blighton keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ji wants to stand up but Blighton has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Ji wants to control but Blighton is keeping him busy.
Blighton gets full guard.
Ji wants to stand but Blighton is controlling his posture from full guard.
Ji has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ji wants to control from the top but Blighton keeps moving.
Ji trying to stand up but can't free himself from Blighton's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zhen Ji has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Blighton shoots in looking for a takedown but Ji manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Blighton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Zhen Ji has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buster Blighton.
Blighton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ji but Ji pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ji lands a lovely overhand right.
Ji stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ji wants it to stay on the feet.
Ji ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Blighton out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zhen Ji!
