Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Bonjasky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen God Gave Me Style as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Remy Bonjasky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a body punch but Bonjasky moves out of range. Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bonjasky throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Bonjasky manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bonjasky's guard. Jones preventing the sweep. Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bonjasky, up you get! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bonjasky fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jones on the side of the head. Bonjasky will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Horrible takedown by Bonjasky or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad. Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bonjasky shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Bonjasky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Remy Bonjasky. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones lands with a nice body kick. Jones throws a head kick but Bonjasky moves out of range.
Bonjasky shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Bonjasky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bonjasky is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones with a nice cross. Jones throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Bonjasky has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bonjasky there as he acknowledges the shot. Bonjasky walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jones. Jon Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bonjasky doesn't seem bothered though. Bonjasky darts in trying to clinch and Jones counters with a head kick. Bonjasky on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones works over Bonjasky's head and body with a nice combination. Jones lunges at Bonjasky with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bonjasky's hand. Jones feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bonjasky's calf. Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Bonjasky moves out of range easily. Jones pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bonjasky back to the cage. Jones follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Jones thows a body shot but no joy. Bonjasky cracks Jones with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Bonjasky lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jones scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Bonjasky takes a kick to the side of the head. Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones tries to land a front kick but Bonjasky steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Bonjasky scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Bonjasky darts in looking for a takedown but Jones gets double underhooks and turns Bonjasky into the cage. Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Bonjasky misses. Jones lands a nice shot to the body.

Jones falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bonjasky counters by clinching up. Bonjasky jumps guard but Jones turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jones lands an elbow that stopped Bonjasky in his tracks for a moment. Jones is trying to force a seperation but Bonjasky has the dominant position. Jones wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jones is trying to break free. Bonjasky successfully pulls guard.
Bonjasky trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Bonjasky seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Bonjasky is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones feints and then cracks Bonjasky's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bonjasky down. Jones looks to land a body kick but Bonjasky moved away. Jones lands with a slapping head kick. Bonjasky manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones keeping moving, preventing Bonjasky from controlling successfully. Bonjasky looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bonjasky is proving hard to escape from. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bonjasky looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jones looks to land a combination but Bonjasky avoids it well. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bonjasky. Jones pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bonjasky is out of range and Jones settles back down. Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
A jab lands there for Jones. Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bonjasky. Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Jon Jones seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bonjasky takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jones is breathing heavily. Bonjasky takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bonjasky doesn't seem phased though. Bonjasky drives through with a takedown into guard. Jones is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bonjasky is aware though and is defending well. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bonjasky working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bonjasky trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bonjasky is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jones is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Jones keeping moving, preventing Bonjasky from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Remy Bonjasky. Jones throws a right and a left that both miss. Bonjasky uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Jones turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Some bone on bone action there as Bonjasky checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bonjasky throws a quick inside leg kick. Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bonjasky fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Remy Bonjasky. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bonjasky rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Jones can't break the clinch.

Bonjasky dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Bonjasky's head and hops out. That kick from Jones tenderised Bonjasky's leg. Bonjasky is trying to keep his angry face on. Bonjasky shoots and misses and Jones counters with a thumping low kick. Jones ducks under a wild hook from Bonjasky. Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bonjasky counters with a straight right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones motions for Bonjasky to come forward. Jones throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Jones fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bonjasky has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Danga de danga de dang - Jones scores with a four punch combination! Bonjasky tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones counters with a flying knee. Nice. Bonjasky is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bonjasky avoids a punch combination nicely.

Bonjasky lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Jon Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Bonjasky's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
A low kick from Jones misses and Bonjasky counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jones's guard now. Bonjasky trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bonjasky is aware though and is defending well. Jones working a defensive guard here.
Bonjasky not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bonjasky in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jones looking to control.
Bonjasky pushing down on Jones's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Jones wants to get back to full guard but Bonjasky has mounted him! Jones defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bonjasky. Jones looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! A bit of a pause in the action here. Bonjasky controlling the positon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bonjasky connects with a big shot to the side of Jones's head.
Bonjasky has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jones has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones wants to get back to his feet. Jones wants to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bonjasky lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Jones trying to control but not successfully. Bonjasky lands an elbow to the side of the head. Bonjasky has the hooks in. Jones is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. The referee is taking a good look at Jones as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Bonjasky!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Bonjasky's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones holding both Bonjasky 's hands and preventing any damage. Jon Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bonjasky patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? This has been an exciting period of action! Bonjasky is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Jones won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Bonjasky off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Remy Bonjasky! Jon Jones was interviewed post fight and said 'sorry for all my fans and i came stronger...'.
