Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Orr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Felipe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rusty Orr has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rusty Orr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruno Felipe!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Felipe pushes Orr up against the cage in a clinch.
Felipe prevents a takedown attempt there.
Felipe slows down the pace here.

Felipe has hold of one of Orr's legs. Orr is fighting the takedown attempt but Felipe gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Orr being controlled here, momentarily.

Felipe stands up and waves to Orr to follow him.

Felipe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Orr napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Felipe wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Orr, who protects the arm well.

Orr prevents Felipe from moving into mount.
Orr tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Felipe presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Felipe tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Orr tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Felipe thowing shots but they're missing.
Orr holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Felipe tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Felipe is trying to control here but Orr has managed to regain half guard.

Felipe looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bruno Felipe was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Felipe manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Orr on his heels. He'll look to pass Orr's guard now, I'm sure.
Felipe is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Orr working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Felipe has passed into half guard!

Felipe escapes and gets back to his feet.

Felipe has closed the distance and engaged Orr in a clinch.

Felipe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Orr works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Felipe controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Orr looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Felipe has picked Orr up and slammed him! Orr can't keep hold of the triangle and Felipe manages to pass to side control!
Orr is trying to escape the position but Felipe is controlling the position.
Bruno Felipe has got the better of the ground game so far.

Felipe has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Felipe shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Orr's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Felipe stands up from Orr's guard - Felipe perhaps looking for a knockout.
Bruno Felipe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Felipe moves into the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Orr fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Felipe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Felipe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Felipe pulls Orr in close to his closed guard and prevents Orr from doing any damage or advancing position.

Felipe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Felipe works his foot free and advances to mount.

Orr holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Felipe tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Orr is squirming around, avoiding Felipe's attempts to control the action.
Felipe thowing shots but they're missing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Felipe looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruno Felipe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Felipe throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Orr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Felipe is in Orr's guard.

Felipe trying to control the position from guard on top but Orr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Felipe advances position into side control!
Felipe tries to advance to mount but can't.

Felipe decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Felipe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Felipe has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Orr regains guard immediately.
Felipe seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Felipe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Orr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Felipe has managed to get both his arms back between Orr's legs - danger averted.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Felipe thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Orr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Orr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Felipe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Felipe's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bruno Felipe was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Felipe scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Felipe clinches.
Orr tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Felipe just stands there and leans against the cage.
Orr tries for a takedown but Felipe manages to get underhooks.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Orr tries to pull guard but Felipe won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rusty Orr. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Felipe pulls Orr into guard.

Felipe is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Felipe is wriggling around but Orr manages to pass to half guard.
Rusty Orr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bruno Felipe is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Felipe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
