Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hazlehurst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thuam Chaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hazlehurst comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne - Fireman. Chaka is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Heart of a Champion. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chaka looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Chaka gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Hazlehurst looks to land a left hand but Chaka moved out of range nicely.
Horrible takedown by Chaka or perhaps it was just good defense by Hazlehurst which made him look bad.

Chaka closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hazlehurst is looking to control Chaka's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hazlehurst avoid being mounted?

Chaka seems to be working for a kimura but Hazlehurst defends the submission attempt.
Hazlehurst slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Hazlehurst working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chaka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chaka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hazlehurst had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chaka defends it easily.
Hazlehurst bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chaka's guard.

Chaka has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hazlehurst is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Chaka.

and Hazlehurst counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Hazlehurst cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Chaka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hazlehurst circles away.

and Hazlehurst counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chaka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hazlehurst manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

It looks like Thuam Chaka has been cut.
