Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nero Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastian Nokia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nero Padilla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bastian Nokia!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Padilla scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nokia in his tracks.
Padilla connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nice body kick there by Padilla.
A solid leg kick lands there for Padilla.
Padilla tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Padilla sizes up Nokia with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A nice inside leg kick there by Padilla. That's going to slow Nokia down.
Padilla fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nokia.
That kick from Padilla tenderised Nokia's leg. Nokia is trying to keep his angry face on.
Padilla catches Nokia with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Padilla clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Padilla has Nokia pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Padilla pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Nokia tumbling to the mat - Padilla dives into Nokia's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Padilla stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nokia swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Padilla passes into half guard.
Padilla is working for a submission of some sort.
Padilla tries to pass to full mount but Nokia defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Padilla looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Padilla moves into full mount! Nokia won't be happy about that!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Padilla looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Padilla tries to control but Nokia wriggling away.
Padilla unloads with some shots from mount but Nokia bucks and avoids them well.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Padilla working for a guillotine from mount but Nokia is in no mood to give up.
Padilla jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Nokia is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Nokia and Padilla has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Padilla is trying to ground and pound but Nokia uses the momentary lack of control by Padilla to regain half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Padilla is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Nokia as he works his way to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nero Padilla dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Nokia chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Padilla can pounce on him.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Padilla, right into the meat.
Padilla shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Padilla was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Padilla remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Padilla has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Nokia!

Padilla sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Padilla swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Our winner, Nero Padilla, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
