Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Burt Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaan Birdwing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Vaan Birdwing will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Birdwing stuffs the takedown attempt from Howard. Howard gets slowly back to his feet.
Howard closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Birdwing to the mat! Birdwing manages to get full guard.
Howard prevents Birdwing from getting back to his feet.
Howard loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Birdwing can do anything to dispel that myth.
Howard throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Birdwing works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Howard throws a strike but Birdwing rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Birdwing throws a body kick that misses.
Birdwing circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Howard drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Birdwing follows Howard to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
