Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Brent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojtek Nocon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brent comes into the arena with David Brent - 'Life on the Road' blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nocon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Brent to the ground. Nocon is now in Brent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brent has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

We've been hearing good reports from Brent's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Nocon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brent controls the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nocon gets caught napping as Brent dives in and scores a takedown. Nocon manages to retain guard.

Brent is pushing down on Nocon's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nocon is fighting to maintain full guard but Brent has managed to sneak the leg through.

Brent lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
