Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Wuzz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arjen Von Liechtenstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Wuzz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arjen Von Liechtenstein!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Liechtenstein lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Von Liechtenstein looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
David Wuzz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Von Liechtenstein just misses with a punch to the body.
Von Liechtenstein scores with a body shot.
Wuzz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wuzz misses with a takedown attempt - Von Liechtenstein sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Von Liechtenstein decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Von Liechtenstein blocks the strikes from Wuzz.
Wuzz wants to improve his position but Von Liechtenstein is controlling well.

Wuzz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Von Liechtenstein pulls his head out easily.

Von Liechtenstein wants to work for an arm triangle but Wuzz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wuzz won't allow Von Liechtenstein to pass to mount.
Wuzz is trying to get back to full guard.

Wuzz tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Von Liechtenstein looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Von Liechtenstein is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Wuzz is trying to escape the mount.
Von Liechtenstein takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Wuzz is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Von Liechtenstein has taken his back!

Wuzz controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Wuzz manages to reverse the position and now he's in Von Liechtenstein's guard. Nice work there by Wuzz.

Von Liechtenstein has his foot on Wuzz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wuzz works his way back into a safe position though.

Von Liechtenstein is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wuzz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Von Liechtenstein swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Von Liechtenstein is trying to control the position but Wuzz postures up.
Von Liechtenstein might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wuzz haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wuzz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Von Liechtenstein looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Von Liechtenstein utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Wuzz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Von Liechtenstein is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wuzz, into his guard.

Wuzz working for a triangle but Von Liechtenstein defends it easily.
Wuzz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wuzz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Wuzz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Von Liechtenstein doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wuzz.

Von Liechtenstein has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wuzz is working away from the top position though.

Wuzz is working for a submission of some sort.
Von Liechtenstein is looking for a sweep. Wuzz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wuzz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Von Liechtenstein has managed to free his arm - good work.

Von Liechtenstein looking for submissions off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Arjen Von Liechtenstein will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Von Liechtenstein looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Von Liechtenstein is working for a kimura but Wuzz is defending it quite comfortably.
Wuzz is looking for a sweep. Von Liechtenstein is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Von Liechtenstein is trying to control the action in half guard but Wuzz is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Wuzz wants to get back to full guard.

Von Liechtenstein is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Wuzz is looking for a sweep.
Wuzz is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Von Liechtenstein's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
We've been hearing good reports from Wuzz's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Arjen Von Liechtenstein showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Wuzz misses with a takedown attempt

and Von Liechtenstein decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wuzz's guard.

Wuzz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wuzz trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Von Liechtenstein passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Von Liechtenstein wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wuzz, who protects the arm well.
Von Liechtenstein wants to control but Wuzz is keeping him busy.
Wuzz misses with a strike from the bottom.
Wuzz manages to work his way to half guard, despite Von Liechtenstein's best efforts.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wuzz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Von Liechtenstein's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Von Liechtenstein's back!

Von Liechtenstein trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Von Liechtenstein is in bad spot here.

Wuzz looking for the choke from the back.

Wuzz looking to break Von Liechtenstein's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Von Liechtenstein remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wuzz will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Von Liechtenstein trying to control the position but Wuzz manages to sink in the hooks.

Wuzz is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Von Liechtenstein is defending well though. Wuzz let's go of the attempt for now.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Wuzz.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Wuzz has managed to slip his arm under Von Liechtenstein's chin. This could be all over... yep, Von Liechtenstein is tapping out! Submission win for Wuzz.
