Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chico feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Chico wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
Chico drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chico jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Silva has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Silva can't keep his opponent in guard - Chico advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Chico is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chico.

Chico is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Chico eventually gives up the hold.

Chico is looking to advance position but Silva won't allow it.
Silva has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Chico. Oh but Silva has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Chico goes limp - he's gone! Silva jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

A relieved looking Rafael Silva thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
