The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lobachyov misses with a combination
and Swiatek counters with a nice uppercut.
Lobachyov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lobachyov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Swiatek.
Swiatek shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Swiatek closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lobachyov circles away.
Igor Lobachyov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tymoteusz Swiatek.

Igor Lobachyov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Lobachyov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Swiatek shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lobachyov sprawls well. Lobachyov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Swiatek gets slowly back to his feet.
Swiatek rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lobachyov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lobachyov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lobachyov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Swiatek.
Lobachyov throws a nice looking combination but Swiatek bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Swiatek shoots for a double leg takedown but Lobachyov sprawls well. He's pushed Swiatek's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Swiatek takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Swiatek throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Lobachyov leaves Swiatek with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Swiatek looks for the body kick but Lobachyov saw that one coming.

Lobachyov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Swiatek circles away quickly and effectively.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Swiatek.
Lobachyov throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lobachyov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Swiatek manages to avoid it.
Lobachyov throws a left and a right that both miss
and Swiatek counters with a left and a right that stings Lobachyov.
Lobachyov lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Swiatek backs up against the cage.

Swiatek is rocked!

Swiatek has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Swiatek is still on wobbly legs! Can Lobachyov finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lobachyov feints with a jab and clips Swiatek right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Swiatek is sent crashing into the canvas and Lobachyov leaps in for the kill! Swiatek tries to get to his feet but Lobachyov is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Swiatek is in need of a savior and steps in!

In his post fight interview, Igor Lobachyov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
