Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Todd Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filip Yolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yolo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Yolo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Valentine stuffs the takedown.
Valentine shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yolo pinned against the cage. Yolo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Yolo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Valentine avoids the head kick by Yolo.
Yolo tries to bum rush Valentine with a series of wild strikes but Valentine uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Valentine shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yolo as he jumps to the side.
Valentine is trying hard to land a takedown here. Yolo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Todd Valentine. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Yolo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Valentine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Yolo wants to control from the top but Valentine keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Filip Yolo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Yolo shoots in looking for a takedown but Valentine manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yolo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Yolo shoots for a double leg takedown but Valentine sprawls well. He's pushed Yolo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice takedown defense from Yolo. No joy for Valentine on that attempt.

Yolo is trying to maintain a safe position but Valentine gets an underhook and turns Yolo into the cage.
Yolo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Valentine really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Yolo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Yolo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Valentine is posturing up here but Yolo has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Valentine tries to roll out but it's too tight and Valentine has to tap! Slick submission there by Yolo!
