The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zibanejadass throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Chihuahua's head.
Chihuahua scores with a crisp jab that stopped Zibanejadass in his tracks.
Zibanejadass throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Chihuahua misses with a series of wild punches.
We've been hearing reports that Zibanejadass has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Chihuahua tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chihuahua throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zibanejadass stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick by Chihuahua misses
and Zibanejadass counters with a single leg into guard. Chihuahua didn't expect that.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Zibanejadass trying to control but Chihuahua is working from the bottom.
Chihuahua wants to stand up but Zibanejadass is controlling him.
Zibanejadass is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Chihuahua is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Chihuahua has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zibanejadass is looking to cinch up a triangle. Chihuahua throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Zibanejadass's body to avoid the submission. Zibanejadass has instead reached around Chihuahua's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Zibanejadass arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mika Zibanejadass!
