Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Al Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Al Russo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Terry Douglas!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russo avoids the head kick by Douglas.

Douglas decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Douglas is just content to waste time from the top position. Russo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Douglas drops back, looking for a kneebar! Russo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Russo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Russo!
The ground and pound from Russo seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Russo stands up.

Russo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Douglas's half guard.
Russo looks to land a strike but Douglas avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Russo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Russo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
