Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David McLain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Keith Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, David McLain! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good leg kick by Martin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Martin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Jab by Martin. Martin scores with a jab to the jaw. Martin throws out a loose jab but McLain uses good head movement to avoid it. Martin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fighters circle momentarily. Martin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Martin darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Martin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits McLains jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Martin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McLain. Martin connects with a solid leg kick. McLain drops his hands momentarily and Martin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Martin is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. A slow jab from Martin misses its intended target. Martin lands a really nice looking cross but McLain seems unphased.
It looks like David McLain has been cut. McLain takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McLain on the wrong end of a nice hook. Martin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. McLain thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin throws a jab when McLain was well out of range. McLain throws the left hand but Martin avoids the punch easily. McLain staying out of range there. Martin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McLain moves away. A jab lands there for Martin. Keith Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McLain ducks under a wild hook from Martin. McLain displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Martin throws out the jab. Martin jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
McLain shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Martin as he avoids it easily. Martin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McLain's head backwards. Martin tries to bum rush McLain with a series of wild strikes but McLain uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Martin leaves McLain with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Martin digs a good body shot into McLain's ribs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Martin stuns McLain with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Martin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McLain at a distance.
McLain looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters circle momentarily. Martin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jab from Martin. McLain walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Martin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Martin circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops McLain to the canvas! McLain doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Martin keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
