Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rory Mccall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Guoga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Guoga has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rory Mccall's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rory Mccall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Guoga! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mccall instigates a clinch. Mccall drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Mccall wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Guoga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mccall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mccall scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Guoga shoots in for a takedown but Mccall shows good takedown defense. Guoga misses with a body kick. Guoga closes the distance looking to clinch and Mccall counters with an inside leg kick. Guoga shoots in but no luck this time. Guoga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mccall tries to avoid it but Guoga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mccall to the ground. Mccall escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rory Mccall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Guoga. Mccall fails with a takedown attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mccall is defended easily by Guoga.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mccall throws a head kick but Guoga moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Guoga. Guoga slaps away a takedown attempt from Mccall, before circling back to the center of the mat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Guoga. Guoga tries to keep at a distance but Mccall has taken the fight into the clinch. Guoga makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mccall goes for a takedown in the clinch but Guoga prevents it.
Guoga misses with an elbow strike.
Mccall takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Rory Mccall has been cut. Mccall tries to pull guard but Guoga holds him up against the cage and eventually Mccall drops back down to his feet.

Mccall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Guoga closes the distance and clinches up with Mccall, looking for a takedown. Guoga pushes Mccall against the cage but Mccall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Guoga shoots in for a takedown but Mccall shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Guoga misses with a takedown attempt - Mccall sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. No luck for Guoga with that takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mccall shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Guoga looks winded! Guoga looking to control.
Mccall working some strikes from top position. Guoga is looking to stand up but Mccall isn't so interested in that idea. Guoga being controlled here, momentarily. Mccall has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Rory Mccall just wasn't active enough. The fight moves into the clinch position. Guoga blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Guoga creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Mccall's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Guoga misses with a knee to the head. Mccall breaks from the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mccall stuffs the takedown. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mccall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Guoga but Guoga pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mccall takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rory Mccall dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rory Mccall's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Guoga shoots in looking for a takedown but Mccall manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Guoga's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Guoga darts in looking for a takedown but Mccall gets double underhooks and turns Guoga into the cage. Guoga misses with a knee to the head. Mccall controlling the action here for a moment.
Mccall fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Guoga is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mccall is defending well for now. Mccall dodges an elbow strike from Guoga.

Mccall displaying some good clinch control by pressing Guoga up against the cage. Mccall looking for a takedown. Mccall tries to pull guard but Guoga forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rory Mccall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guoga tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Guoga lands a damaging elbow. Mccall stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Mccall successfully pulls guard.
Mccall keeping moving, preventing Guoga from controlling successfully. Guoga is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Guoga is fighting to break Mccall's control of his arms but Mccall is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guoga is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mccall has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Guoga is looking to defend but Mccall has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Guoga! Mccall pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Guoga taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Rory Mccall!
