Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eulalio Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nylerhotep Constantine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez comes to the cage accompanied by El party me llama. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Eulalio Gonzalez! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nylerhotep Constantine! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Constantine with a hook. Gonzalez throws a lazy uppercut
and Constantine counters with a takedown into side control. Gonzalez is trying to improve his position. Constantine wants to stand but Gonzalez is controlling his arm. You can see the frustration on Gonzalez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Gonzalez is looking for a sweep. Constantine tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gonzalez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Constantine wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Constantine wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gonzalez, who protects the arm well. Gonzalez's coaches at Hilo Training Center have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Constantine goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gonzalez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Constantine but great work by Gonzalez.
That's one minute gone in the round. Constantine takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Constantine manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Constantine wants to control but Gonzalez is keeping busy and won't allow it. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gonzalez lands a nice short elbow. Gonzalez working Constantine over with strikes. Gonzalez wants to take a breather but Constantine is having none of it. Gonzalez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Constantine is looking for a sweep. Gonzalez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez slips a nice elbow through Constantine's hands, connecting with Constantine's forehead. Constantine has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gonzalez is working away from the top position though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gonzalez working over Constantine with some ground and pound. Constantine looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Constantine flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Gonzalez is stalling here. Constantine is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Gonzalez seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Constantine has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Constantine wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gonzalez keeps working. Constantine throws an elbow but Gonzalez slips to the side and avoids it well. Gonzalez manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Gonzalez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Gonzalez is keen to just control but Constantine is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez passes to side control. Gonzalez misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Constantine is not content to let Gonzalez control the position. Gonzalez postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Gonzalez throwing shots but missing, from side control. Gonzalez is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Constantine is trying to escape and Gonzalez transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Constantine is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gonzalez! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Eulalio Gonzalez! Eulalio Gonzalez is the new welterweight champion! Eulalio Gonzalez spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
