Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boby Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Olson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Nelly - Just a Dream. Olson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Xzibit - Get your walk on kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kevin Olson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Boby Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Olson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olson throws a lazy uppercut
and Lee counters with a three punch combo that has Olson backing up. Olson nods at Lee to acknowledge the strikes.
Olson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lee counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Lee slips a jab and a cross from Olson.
Olson swings widly with a right hand
and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Olson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lee counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kevin Olson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Lee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Olson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Olson.

and Lee counters with a right hand that sends Olson tumbling to the canvas! Can Lee finish him? He dives into Olson's guard looking to do just that!

Lee looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Olson is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Lee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Olson for as long as he can get away with.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lee is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Olson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Olson is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Olson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lee has hold of Olson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Olson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Lee is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Olson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Olson shrugs it off.

Lee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
You get the feeling that Olson really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Lee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well Lee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
