A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Magnus throws a solid leg kick but Short takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Magnus.
Short shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Magnus has hold of Short's hands but Short slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Magnus moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Magnus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Short can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Short really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Magnus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
