Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hitmon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Atlason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hitmon Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Theo Atlason! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking cross lands there for Lee. Atlason takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Atlason keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lee fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Atlason is out of range. Atlason takes a shot right to the bread basket. Lee is looking to clinch. Atlason throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily. Lee staying out of range there. Atlason missing with a left hand there. Lee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Atlason dips to his left and cracks Lee with an uppercut! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Atlason. Atlason tries to land a body kick and Lee counters by clinching up. Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Atlason throws a leg kick but Lee sees it coming and moves out of range. Atlason misses with a low kick as Lee jumps back. Atlason misses with a right hand and Lee counters with a leg kick. Lee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Atlason defends it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee. Lee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Atlason stuns Lee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Atlason lands a really nice looking cross but Lee seems unphased.
Atlason feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lees jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A solid leg kick lands there for Lee.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Atlason scores with a spinning back kick! Lee is breathing heavily. Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Atlason avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hitmon Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. A shot to the liver by Atlason. Beautiful body shot. Lee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Theo Atlason is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Atlason.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Atlason. Atlason misses with a kick to the body.
Lee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Atlason feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lees jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Atlason tests Lee's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nice cross by Atlason.
It looks like Hitmon Lee has been cut. Atlason has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Atlason fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Lee to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Lee looks to clinch but Atlason throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Lee taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Theo Atlason! During a confident post fight interview, Theo Atlason thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
