The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Downer.
Penn tries for a takedown but Downer circles away easily

and Downer counters by moving into the clinch.
Downer prevents a takedown attempt there.
Penn takes an elbow to the temple.
Downer lands an elbow that stopped Penn in his tracks for a moment.

Bentley Downer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reagen Penn.
Penn is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Penn changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Downer fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Penn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Downer walks away with a smile on his face. Penn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
