Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob The Robber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bob The Robber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dave Meyer! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meyer wants to clinch up but The Robber keeps it at a distance. The Robber misses with a jab, cross combination.
Meyer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Danga de danga de dang - The Robber scores with a four punch combination! The Robber throws a series of strikes that have Meyer backpedaling.
Bob The Robber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Robber swinging wildly here.
Meyer gets cracked with a nice right hand there by The Robber. A jab from The Robber does it's job there. Meyer takes one to the side of the head.
Meyer walks into a jab. Nice cross by The Robber. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The Robber misses with a few strikes there.
The Robber is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. The Robber with a body punch. A glancing blow. Meyer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and The Robber counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Meyer thinking.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Robber lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The Robber misses with a double jab.
The Robber lands with an overhand left. Bob The Robber is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Meyer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The Robber throws a leg kick but Meyer moved away. The Robber swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The Robber connects with a crisp jab. Meyer tries to grapple but his opponent circles and The Robber counters with a three punch combo that has Meyer backing up. Meyer nods at The Robber to acknowledge the strikes. Meyer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Meyer there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Robber connects with a good right hand that stumbles Meyer. Meyer circles away out of range and recomposes himself. The Robber scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Meyer has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Meyer takes one on the button. The Robber slaps away a takedown attempt from Meyer, before circling back to the center of the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Meyer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts The Robber as he jumps to the side. Bob The Robber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Meyer. The Robber scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. The Robber looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The Robber throws a right and a left that Meyer avoids nicely. The Robber feints a jab promting Meyer to slip. The Robber then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Meyer slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The Robber lands a lovely overhand right. Meyer dodges the punch combination from The Robber.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Meyer takes a shot right to the bread basket. The Robber paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Meyer wants to clinch up but The Robber keeps it at a distance. Meyer tries to clinch there but The Robber circles away.
The Robber lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Meyer backs up against the cage.
Meyer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Robber avoids it really well and circles away. Some wild striking there from The Robber.
Meyer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Meyer tries to close the distance and clinch up but The Robber swats him away and circles back towards the center. The Robber scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Meyer doesn't seem bothered though. The Robber lands a body shot.
A punch combination from The Robber misses. The Robber uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Meyer has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. The Robber scores with the left hand. Meyer knows he should have avoided that one. The Robber lands with a thumping leg kick.
Meyer is trying desperately to land a takedown but The Robber is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Meyer. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The Robber looks to land a combination. Meyer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Robber connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Meyer takes one to the side of the head.
The Robber connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Meyer momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob The Robber dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
The Robber stuffs the takedown attempt from Meyer. Meyer gets slowly back to his feet. Meyer takes a body punch but keeps moving. The Robber lands with a cross. The Robber scores with a hook to the body. Meyer takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. The Robber uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Meyer has time to react. A cross from The Robber lands. A decent looking cross lands there for The Robber. Good shot there by The Robber. The Robber throws a shot to the body.
Good work by Meyer as he checks the leg kick. The Robber scores with a nice right hand.
Meyer looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Robber lands with a shot to the body. The Robber scores with a punch to the head. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by The Robber!
The Robber comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The Robber lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Meyer circles away quickly and effectively. Meyer moves in looking to clinch but The Robber pushes him off. Meyer darts in looking for a takedown but The Robber gets double underhooks and turns Meyer into the cage. The Robber lands a right hand. The Robber makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Meyer struggles to land a body shot inside as The Robber controls his hands.
A quick uppercut on the inside from The Robber. Meyer takes a shot to the head. The Robber lands with a left to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Meyer wants to stall.
The Robber is leaning against Meyer and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Meyer tries to stall but The Robber uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Meyer jumps into guard, dragging The Robber to the mat.
The Robber postures up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Robber is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Meyer can do to turn this around? Meyer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The Robber manages to get himself to full guard.
Meyer wants to pass the guard but The Robber is keeping the position. Meyer passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Meyer tries to advance to mount but The Robber denies him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Meyer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Meyer tries to move into full mount but can't pass The Robber's legs. Meyer is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. The Robber looks calm but he's in trouble here. Meyer gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. The Robber is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Meyer lets go of the hold and The Robber can pop his arm back in it's socket.
