Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dersu Uzala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries for a takedown but Uzala sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dersu Uzala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seth Johnson.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Uzala circles away from the clinch attempt.

Uzala gets a takedown into half guard.
Johnson wants to improve his position but Uzala is controlling well.
Uzala is stalling here. Johnson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Uzala seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Johnson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Uzala keeps working.
Uzala regains half guard.

Uzala works his way to full guard. Good work.

Uzala looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Johnson wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Uzala's closed guard. He's half up but Uzala has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Uzala pivots and extends the arm, Johnson falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Uzala! Well done that man!
