Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cory Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Poison - Every Rose Has Its Thorn . The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black misses with a straight left.
Steel keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Black misses with a series of wild punches.
Steel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Steel tries to close the distance and clinch but Black swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Steel just misses with a punch to the body.
Black tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Steel misses with an uppercut. Black saw that one coming.
Steel thows a body shot but no joy.
Some wild striking there from Black.
Black throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Steel connects with a nice cross there... Black is looking wobbly and Steel recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Black to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Steel jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
