Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnie Mcfadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Materla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Materla has chosen Sobota - DO góry łeb! as his entrance music. Michal Materla will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnie Mcfadden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michal Materla! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Materla throws a head kick but Mcfadden moves out of range.
Mcfadden drives through and clinches with Materla against the cage.
Mcfadden tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Mcfadden breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mcfadden tries to sprawl but Materla drives through with a takedown into half guard. Nice strikes from Materla there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Materla perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Mcfadden tries to get to full guard but Materla has control of the leg. Materla passes to side control. Mcfadden seems a little lost for a moment, as Materla dominates the positioning. Materla decides to take the fight back to the feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Materla moves in looking to clinch but Mcfadden pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Materla clinches up against the cage. Mcfadden misses with a punch to the body.
Mcfadden taking a breather. Mcfadden lands a hook that snaps the head of Materla backwards. Mcfadden is breathing heavily. Materla breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mcfadden avoids a kick to the body.
Mcfadden closes the distance and clinches up with Materla, looking for a takedown. Mcfadden pushes Materla against the cage but Materla circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mcfadden darts in and clinches Materla up against the cage. Materla is trying to trip Mcfadden. He has hold of a leg but Mcfadden is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Materla persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Materla slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Materla stands up and beckons Mcfadden to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mcfadden closes the distance and clinches. Materla lands a body shot in the clinch.
Mcfadden has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Materla unloads a knee to the mid-section. Materla gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mcfadden regains guard.
Materla is pushing down on Mcfadden's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mcfadden is fighting to maintain full guard but Materla has managed to sneak the leg through. Materla takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Materla landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Mcfadden wants to get back to full guard. Materla is figuring out what he wants to do next. Materla is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mcfadden!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Materla in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Materla working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Mcfadden turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Materla off and cradles Mcfadden's limp body as Materla celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Michal Materla! A victorious Michal Materla thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
