Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kendrick Stagliano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreh Francisco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Francisco is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: No Mercy. The key to victory for Kendrick Stagliano has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kendrick Stagliano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andreh Francisco!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Francisco does no damage.
Francisco lands with a hook. Stagliano tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Stagliano throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Francisco sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Francisco on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Stagliano keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Francisco.
Francisco scores with a body shot.
Francisco has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Stagliano clinches with his opponent.

Stagliano breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stagliano lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Francisco throws a series of punches but Stagliano moves out of range.

Stagliano has taken the fight to the clinch.
Francisco misses with the head strike.
Stagliano tries to work over Francisco's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Francisco is looking to break free of the clinch but Stagliano has double underhooks.

Stagliano pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stagliano smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kendrick Stagliano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Francisco misses with a left hand
and Stagliano counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Stagliano rushes Francisco and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stagliano tries a body shot but Francisco blocks it.
Francisco is trying to maintain a safe position but Stagliano gets an underhook and turns Francisco into the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stagliano misses with an elbow strike.
Francisco tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stagliano just stands there and leans against the cage.
Francisco lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Stagliano.

Stagliano's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stagliano dips to his left and cracks Francisco with an uppercut!
Francisco scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Francisco misses the shot to the body.
Francisco misses with a looping left.
Francisco moves out of range of the strikes.
A head kick misses from Stagliano.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stagliano. Francisco does a little dance to reset his feet.
Francisco will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stagliano misses the shot to the body.
A big right from Francisco misses.
Stagliano showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Francisco.
Francisco lands with a right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stagliano connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Francisco momentarily.

Stagliano closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Francisco successfully pulls guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Francisco keeping moving, preventing Stagliano from controlling successfully.
Stagliano throwing strikes from guard but Francisco blocks nicely.
Stagliano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Francisco on the ground.
Stagliano wants to stand but Francisco is controlling his posture from full guard.

Francisco has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Stagliano should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Francisco has tightened it up now! Stagliano should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
